Benefits of Müdek Accreditation for Engineering Students and Graduates
It is a set of standards that includes certain standards for accreditation of engineering education programs. This label is given to the engineering programs that reach these educational standards. In 2009, MÜDEK was authorized by the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education to give the EUR-ACE label to the engineering programs it will accredit. It is the 7th agency authorized in Europe in this regard.
Thus, in addition to the enhancement of the quality of engineering education offered in accordance with the standards and criteria by means of MÜDEK Accreditation, the EUR-ACE® label of MÜDEK Accreditation provides some benefits to students and graduates as stated below:
- By means of EUR-ACE® label, engineering programs certify that they have both European and international high standards, thus ensuring their recognition by European employers.
- EUR-ACE® facilitates applications to Master and Doctoral programs in other Higher Education Institutions.
- In countries where the engineering profession is regulated, EUR-ACE® labeled programs meet the educational requirements for becoming a registered or chartered engineer.
- The EUR-ACE® label facilitates graduate mobility as promoted by the EU Directive on recognition of Professional Qualification.
- EUR-ACE® is the educational standard for the professional card as promoted by FEANI (European Federation of National Engineering Association).
- FEANI automatically includes EUR-ACE® labelled programs in its Index which lists educational requirements for the Eur Ing title.
