The make-up exams in the 2023-2024 Academic Year Associate and Undergraduate Academic Calendar will be conducted in accordance with the following principles.
1) Students enrolled in associate and undergraduate programs;
Students who have the right to take the final exam but for any reason cannot take the exam (GR) can take the make-up exam from the failed courses and failed courses with FF, FD and YZ grades.
Students are not allowed to take the make-up exam from the courses they failed (DZ) due to absenteeism.
Successful courses with a grade of DD or above are not taken for the make-up exam in order to raise the grade.
Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry programs and preparatory class take the make-up exam according to the conditions specified in their own application principles.
Students who have completed their maximum time, who have used their additional exam and additional time exam rights cannot take the make-up exam.
Students who fulfill all the requirements of the course, including the semester, until the make-up exam date for graduation assignments, internships, vocational training in the enterprise and similar courses can take the make-up exam.
2) There is no excuse for the make-up exam.
3) Students do not need to apply for the make-up exam. The list of students who can take the make-up exam is determined according to the principles stated in Article 1.
4) In the calculation of the success grade, the semester exam scores of the courses are included in the calculation as they are and the make-up exam is evaluated instead of the final exam.
5) The success grade is calculated by taking into account the weights of the midterm and final exams of the course in the relevant semester and the success evaluation (BDS) used in the final exam. The success grades obtained as a result of the calculation of the students who take the make-up exam are accepted as the final success grade of the relevant course.
